WHAT IS MODAFIENDZ?
Detailed overview
Modafiendz is a synthetic fluorinated analog of modafinil: chemically 2-[bis(4-fluorophenyl)methylsulfinyl]-N-methylacetamide, i.e. the N-methylated derivative of flmodafinil (bisfluoromodafinil). It has surfaced as a research chemical and as an unapproved ingredient spiked into products marketed as dietary supplements, and is not a licensed medicine anywhere. Its presumed mechanism mirrors modafinil, weak dopamine transporter (DAT) inhibition, but essentially no dedicated pharmacological research exists on it. The available literature deals purely with analytical and forensic identification, not with human or animal effects.
